Power Engineering Laboratory (PEL)

Power Engineering Laboratory focuses towards new clean technologies based on using hydrogen as the energy storage and renewable energy sources (RES) with an emphasis on Solar energy.

As a part of the UNIZAG FSB, the Laboratory is located at the FSB East B building

Head of the Laboratory is Assistant professor Ankica Kovač.

Apart from lecture room for students and visitors, wide space for experimental and research work, there is also a Workshop in which the laboratory technician Milan Šulentić compiles the system components according to the proposed technical drafts.

Through its projects, the Laboratory cooperates with other domestic and foreign faculties, institutes, and industry. The core of activities carried out in the Laboratory are laboratory and demonstration subsystems, with an emphasis on their desirable integration into the broader system. The aim is to demonstrate how commercial systems come from ideas through research laboratory systems.
